The Experience

What the route feels like

The Annapurna Sanctuary trek is an incredible trek into a high-altitude glacial basin surrounded by a ring of ten peaks over 7,000 meters. The trek begins in the green foothills of Pokhara, climbing through terraced fields, dense bamboo forests, and deep gorges. As you step through the narrow gateway between Machapuchare and Hiunchuli, the landscape expands into a sanctuary of rock and ice, placing you directly beneath the massive south face of Annapurna I.
